LM Finishing Systems s.r.l. was founded in 1971 by Lando Mario after his work experience in the mechanical sector in Switzerland.
On returning to the Veneto area, he used the money he had saved in Switzerland to launch his entrepreneurial embryo which then kept on growing. A lathe, a milling machine, a pillar drill were all Lando owned when “LM” started up; its owner’s tenaciousness, farsightedness and perseverance have enabled the company to manufacture over 10,000 machines sold the world over.
Supported by his wife handling administration, during the early 70s , to satisfy the needs of galvanic industrialists, the owner started to design the first centrifugal blower then used by them to dry galvanized small parts; this sector was fertile ground on which to launch and develop production, fitting it into a market niche.

Thus on to the early 80s, when the happy intuition to widen horizons led Lando Mario to designing and manufacturing the first precious metal and industrial finishing machines.
The company offered the market a complete product range to treat and finish metals soon becoming a world market reference point in the goldsmith and industrial sectors.
National and international trade fairs saw the start of the industrial machine production stage, taking LM to a market leader position. In 1994 the company was awarded the gold medal for economic progress, rewarding the intense work done by Lando Mario and his family.
Over recent years, the contribution from the owner’s children has turned the company from a crafts to an industrial concern.
The technological evolution was what has further favoured the modernisation and productive efficiency of machines, now part of advanced automatic plants built by LM and managed by PLC and advanced software.

We need to underline that the machines are built fully in house and are followed by highly competent technicians and by well prepared, qualified staff, going from carpentry to testing as we can count on a modern structure with a carpentry, turnery, assembly area and testing area where customers can test products.
LM is still a market leader in the sector and to carry on satisfying sector needs now uses a number of external suppliers closely supported by technical staff involved in the R&D of new technology.
